We have handled the communications aspects of a wide range of major incidents,
declared by police or hospitals or both. The following list is by no means exhaustive:

• 29 children and two adults involved in bus crash under low bridge in Runcorn
• 20 adults injured in bus crash on the M6 near Wigan
• major fire resulting in total destruction of one ward at a cost of £1.5m, damage to others and evacuation without serious injury of 250 patients
• evacuation of entire hospital following contamination of air conditioning
• chemical incident involving lethal substance resulting in evacuation of A&E Department
• suspicious parcel delivered, resulting in wide-scale evacuation by police and attendance by bomb squad
• bomb threats
• bus crash involving woman trapped underneath vehicle and a number of other injured passengers
